I will start off with the great things about cabana. First off, itâs a brand new apartment complex. Thereâs no way you can find an apartment brand new for the price they have with top of the line appliances. The actual complex itself has a pool and a very reliable gym. Each building has its own pod in the middle that has a variety of different things to do. Almost like a park in the middle of each building. There is plenty of parking inside of the complex. There is a hired security guard that makes his rounds around the complex late at night and we have a security gate. All of my neighbors are young and friendly. As a 21 year old I love it. Now for the very few bad parts of cabana. When I first moved in there was hardly anyone here so I didnât really get to hear if the walls were thin or not. Unfortunately they are. I recently have had neighbors move in to the left and above me. I can hear everything that is happening with both neighbors and it is awful. I canât sleep very well at night with all the walking and racket going on above me. I can hear my neighbors dog barking and slamming into my wall consistently. I know it is not my neighbors fault but the fault of the complex for the poor insulation in the walls and ceiling. The dumpsters and recycling are filled to the brim all the time. And I have to walk all the way to the end of the complex to throw away my trash. The last thing that was very frustrating for me was my application process. I had to call many times and email even more just to get simple questions answered. I was called two days before my move in date to discuss a change in my apartment choice. When you choose your apartment number you have no idea what building, floor, or space youâre going to be obtaining. I chose a random number because I had no information to choose a specific one. I happened to choose a handicap accessible one and was only notified about it two days before move in. I then had to choose another apartment for the same price on a different floor. I then was given only a few hours to redo the whole application process again and barely completed it on time (they had a move in special and it ended that day). The front office is brand new to the complex just like we all are so Iâm not saying theyâre horrible at their jobs, but it was upsetting how the customer had make up for lost time. All in all the complex is a great place to live and I would recommend it.
